The Ashtanga Yoga Institute was voted to the top 5 yoga centres in India by the Business Week:

Yoga at KPJAYI is very physical, more suited to advanced students. There is a "sequence of the six" that form the standard routines of the institute. It is said that no student in the recent years has mastered all 6 steps (which would end up in enlightenment).

No accommodation nor food is not provided. Ask KPJAYI for recommendations - they have partnerships with some places nearby.

This yoga institute is often fully booked months in advance.
