Experience mantra chanting, a practice for liberating the mental energy and explore a meditative system utilizing breath, mantra and visualisation to activate the whole energetic field. Ajapa Dharana awakens the dormant energetic and psychic potential that lies within.

This year our visit to Munger coincides with Navaratri; a powerful 9 day period of astrological significance deemed most auspicious to do any spiritual practice (sadhana). It is said an hour of sadhana during this time is equal to 100 hours of sadhana any other time of the year.

Join ashram activities during the last 3 days of Navaratri, a time to expand your consciousness with mantra chanting (specific sound vibration), intended to purify, energise and awaken. The energy of sound has an explosive force, clearing out mental patterns and assisting you in liberating your self.

Ajapa Dharana Retreat (one-pointed concentration on the spontaneous repetition of mantra) is a meditative system that utilizes breath, mantra and visualisation to activate the whole energetic field and activate the inner circuits so that prana can flow freely. This practice awakens a deeper experience of existence, stimulating the dormant energetic and psychic potential that lies within.

This retreat will have the following:

* Asana, Pranayama, Mudra and Bandha practices to increase movement of prana

* Specialised practices for stimulation, purification and opening of the psychic passages used for Ajapa Dharana

* Satyananda Yoga Nidra™

* Progressive stages of Ajapa Dharana Meditation

* Possibility of Satsang (spiritual truth talk) with Swami Niranjanananda

* Kirtan (singing and chanting of mantra)

* Karma yoga (working with meditative awareness)

* Integrate into pre-planned ashram activities like havan (fire) ceremony and chanting of ancient texts

* Live in an authentic Indian ashram integrating culture during the program

This retreat is taking place at Munger, where Swami Niranjanananda, the active guide of Satyananda Yoga world-wide resides.

7:00 - 9:00 Free Time / Study / Spiritual Journal / Bed
