Hatha Yoga is an ancient technology of well-being which is mentioned in scriptures as propounded by Adi Yogi Lord Shiva and now it has been accepted by many healthcare practitioners as an effective complimentary treatment procedure. Hatha Yoga is one of the most traditional paths of Yoga which helps in preparing the body and mind for the highest possibilities in human life. It offers many health benefits to the practitioners and proven to be very effective in alleviating and curing some of the chronic ailments such as high blood pressure, constipation, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, asthma, neck pain, back pain, headache and migraine, etc.

There are various unique sequences of Yoga asanas in Hatha Yoga which unblocks the stuck energies in the body and allows them to flow through energy channels called nadis. Hatha Yoga comprises of two words – “Ha” which represents Surya Nadi or Pingala Nadi which is present in the right side of the body and “Tha” which represents Chandra Nadi or Ida Nadi governing the flow of energy in the left side of the body. Hatha Yoga balances the flow of energy in both sides of the body and helps in achieving the meditative state. Hatha Yoga Teacher Training program is conducted by Om Shankar Yoga which is a registered Yoga school recognized by Yoga Alliance USA. This program focuses on gaining in-depth understanding of Yoga postures, Breathing Methods (Pranayama), Meditation Techniques and Teaching Methodologies. Hatha Yoga Teacher Training course has been designed in such as which helps in enhancing personal Yoga practices and cultivating efficient teaching skills in the participants of the program.
