The Sampoorna Yoga Teacher Training course is based on the eight limbed yoga philosophy of Patanjali and emphasizes on all the eight limbs of Ashtanga yoga, not only on Asana. There is a lot of emphasis on Yamas, Niyamas, Pranayama, concentration, meditation techniques and mindfulness. This comprehensive curriculum also includes Yoga philosophy including Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, yogic lifestyle and ethics, yogic diet, basic ayurveda, anatomy and physiology for yoga teachers and practitioners.
Our 200 hour teacher training course is a four week intensive program of study designed to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow. Your teacher training journey with us is as much about deepening your own practice and individuality as it is about gaining the skills to teach others. We passionately believe in the significance of your own journey of discovery and experience on the development of your unique personal voice and style as a teacher.
We are unorthodox and non-dogmatic in our approach towards yoga. We strongly encourage our students to bring in their own creativity, intuitions and spiritual experiences into their teaching styles. Your time with us will be spent on expanding your knowledge of asanas, paying particular attention to key alignment and anatomical structure to both benefit and deepen your own practice as well as teaching others safely.
