Relax your body and mind in the heart of India's spiritual capital. Located in the foothills of the majestic Himalayas, and nourished by the Mother Ganges River, our center is here to facilitate a deeper connection with the inner self.

Our Ashram is a spiritually focused center to bring the arts of Iyengar yoga, Vedanta, Meditation, and Sanskrit studies to any people who may be seeking these knowledge.
The Ashram is headed by the Swami Dayananda Saraswati, who is teacher of contemporary Vedanta and a scholar in the ancient script of Sanskrit in the Sankara tradition. He has been teaching for more than five decades in India, and began spreading his teachings abroad in 1976. Swami is also well known for his humanitarian efforts in India and his participation as a speaker for many international forums.
The Ashram consists of over 150 rooms all with attached bathrooms with hot water, situated among beautiful peaceful gardens and trees. With a central location, only ten minutes from the Rishikesh Bizaar our center is easy to find and access. We have an on-site library with over 50,000 books available for public usage. We welcome guests almost year round, and our guests are welcome to partake in the ongoing camps and classes we provide. Please contact us to let us know when you plan on arriving as we sometimes fill our accommodations.

We offer yoga courses both in Iyengar yoga, and Ayurveda and Yoga.
Our Iyengar course is led by Shri Nandakumar, this course will focus on Asana and Pranayama of Iyengar yoga. This course is appropriate for all levels of practitioners and will be offered the following dates:
October 20th-29th 2011
October 30th - 7th November 2011
February 7th-17th 2012
