Come explore and deepen your yoga practice and enjoy the sunshine and infamously beautiful beaches of Goa. Here at the Chakra Yoga School, in Palolem Beach, one is able to take in the benefits of their yoga practice while watching the coconut trees sway in the gentle breeze.
Our specialty is in the Ashtanga Vinyasa style of yoga from the K. Patthabi Jois lineage. The founder of our school and director of the teacher training program is OM Dwivedi. He is from the spiritual capital of India, Rishikesh and has been practicing yoga since 14 years of age. Our head teacher Kranti Tarun Agrawal has been teaching yoga since 2007 and is a member of the Divine Live Society Sivanand Ashram in Rishikesh. Our other teacher is from Ireland, Patricia Lohan, is a graduate of both the Sivananda and Kranti Yoga Teacher Training courses. Additionally she is a Reiki Master and a sound healer with Tibetan Singing Bowls.
At the Chakra Yoga School we offer daily asana classes, a one week course for beginners, a 3 week long yoga immersion course, and a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training Program.
Our daily yoga classes are 2,500/RS for one week of classes, for a month they are 9,000/RS.
The one week long beginners course costs 3,000/RS and takes place from 10:30am to 12:00pm.
The three week long yoga immersion cost 30,000/RS the start dates are; November 1, 2011 , December 6, 2011, January 3, 2012, January 31,2012, February 28, 2012.
The teacher training course is one month in duration, and costs 54,000/RS if booked 2 months in advance to the course start date, if paid in less than 2 months price increases to 66,000/RS. This includes a course handbook, a continental healthy breakfast, and herbal tea throughout the day. The start dates are as follows; October 31, 2011, December 5, 2011, January 2, 2012, January 30,2012, February 27, 2012.
