Panmana Ashram, located small village in the district of Kollam, is a deeply spiritual place with a long history of spiritual seekers, including Mahatma Gandhi. We are honored to have the opportunity to have part time use of this ashram and be able to share this exciting chance with our students.

Here at Yoga Vidya, we offer a wide range of retreats in not only yoga but also meditation, detoxification, Chakra Balancing, Ayurveda, Sanskrit studies, and other aspects of philosophy and spirituality. All of our teachers are either scholars, monks or spiritual seekers who are ameliorated with many years experience teaching students from around the world.

Our yoga teaching is aimed at helping each and every individual student create a deep interconnection with themselves. Instead of focusing primarily on one style of yoga and drilling the students with this single path, we use the multilimbed tree of hatha yoga to let students explore and find the best yoga for their needs. We teach yoga not only as physical asana but also as a practice of full body-mind-soul connection. We split our year of teaching into two separate locations, with our summer center being outside of Dharmashala, and the rest of the year being here, in the beautiful Kerala. We are proud to now be Yoga Alliance Certified for our 200 hour teacher training program, which we offer throughout the summer at our center here. Included in the teacher training is practical training, teaching methodology, anatomy and Ayurveda, yoga philosophy, lifestyle & ethics for teachers
The dates for the training are as follows;
Nov. 15- Dec. 15
Jan. 6- Feb. 05
Feb. 10- Mar. 12
Mar. 16- Apr. 15
The cost for this program is 1,000 Euros, not including food or accommodation.

Accommodation is offered in the Ashram in the option of private rooms for 300 Euro/month, twin-shared for 150 Euro/month, or dormitory 100 Euro/month. Food is Satvik and vegetarian and is offered by the ashram at the rate of 150 Euro/month.
