Located on the Varkala cliff in Kerala, Kasi Yoga Anushtana Kendram approaches union yoga mainly through hatha yoga practices of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), mudra (gestures), bandha (energy locks). Kasi Yoga also teaches mantra and meditation.
Daily open yoga classes at 6:30am (Rs. 200 per class).
Private classes for groups and individuals can also be arranged to suit specific needs. These are beneficial for those who would like more personal guidance and attention.
Rates vary according to class size and timings depend on availability.

- YOGA TRAINING COURSE
This 10-day course is suitable for those interested in exploring yoga further, and in helping to build a foundation in yoga practice. It is more intensive than the twice daily open classes. Beginners and intermediate practitioners are welcome to join. In addition to asana, students will learn and practice pranayama, mudra, bandha, and meditation.

- YOGA RELAXATION & MEDITATION RETREAT
For those who would like a break from daily tension in life, and learn techniques on how to relax, unwind, and refresh themselves. In this course we will work on releasing blocked energy in the body with asanas, learn how to relieve tension to relax the whole body, and work on building concentration.
- YOGA FOR BEGINNERS
Never practiced yoga before? Yoga has nothing to do complicated twists and postures. Here we give an introduction of yoga so you can start yoga practices properly and safely, which is important in understanding and building a strong foundation in yoga practice. Start where you are and see what yoga can do for you.
- MANTRA, PRANAYAMA, MEDITATION
Learn about the power of mantras, how to chant mantra properly, and how mantra yoga affects a person on emotional and psychic levels. Also learn how to practice pranayama safely and properly, and how to incorporate pranayama into daily life. Mantra and pranayama are important steps to concentration and meditation.
