It can cure many ailments and disorders- the only condition is that it must be practiced daily having full faith in its efficacy.Meditation will gain not only mental peace, but material prosperity as well. Meditation rooted in the understanding of spiritual principles will lead us ultimately to the liberation of the soul.
Sometimes, we meditate but the mind is not at rest. We leave the practice out of disgust. Whatever the state of the mind, one should keep on meditating with devotion. One day the devotee will find, the mind becomes pure and the desired mental poise is achieved. Meditation is a recipe for getting rid of present day restlessness and turmoil, chaos, and confusion.
The ability to appreciate God's creation comes when your consciousness is centered more inside yourself, in the awareness of God's presence. If you are caught up in restlessness or criticism or negation, or per-occupation with the needs of the body and its ills, you never really give yourself a chance to know God in the divine inner temple. But the more you seek Him within and practice His presence, the more you will be able to fathom the marvels of this world He has created. you can separate the troubles of humankind from all that is good on this earth. with its myriad splendors, its towering mountains and majestic forests. You find intoxicating beauty in even the tiniest desert flower.
