Himalayan Trekking Retreat 20 Sept to 3rd Oct 2012
The very path that ancient Yogis and sages used to take to retreat from the world and immerse themselves in deep Yogic and meditative practices. The mountains, valleys and water ways, so pristine in the Himalayas set the perfect conditions for introspection. The highest peaks in the world are here. The most sacred river of the planet starts here. And nobody lives here. It is for the prana rich air, the fresh chilled water and the seclusion of this holy place that continues to inspire pilgrims from all walks of life, around the world. Mountaineering enthusiasts love the wildness of the nature, and Yogis still retire here in search of peace and bliss.
We invite all of you who are keen to experience the purity and authenticity of Yoga teachings at the highest and deepest level. The trek is led by senior teacher Fabio Fabbri and Paddle in India trekking guides to give us the best possible experience in the safest way. We will be escorted to the source of the Ganges River and camp on the site of the river glacier. We will practice Yoga as tradition had done for thousands of years, outdoor amidst the most auspicious sites in history.
