Soham (School of Awareness and Meditation) Centre is set up with the objective to propagate a body-mind-spirit approach in the healing process while bringing about a holistic vision of life. In line with this, our centre offers Yoga, Reiki, Meditation, Stress Management and Yogic Counselling courses and retreats helping our clients to attain deeper understanding of holistic life.
Soham Classic Yoga
Soham follows a yoga style especially developed to treat most health problems of our modern lifestyle. As we have identified some of the common ailments of our times are back and spinal problems, stomach upset, obesity and excessive stress, we have accordingly selected some of the suitable yogic exercises and yoga postures which are practiced in a sequence with particular emphasis on deep relaxation and awareness. During the basic yoga courses we practice around 25 yogic exercises, 36 yoga postures, 5 types of pranayama and various meditation techniques.

Yoga Teachers Training Course
For interested students who wish to attain a deeper understanding of yoga we offer learning more advanced level postures, therapeutic yoga, yoga philosophy and developing their teaching skills to become a yoga teacher. The duration of this course is 3 months with a minimum of daily 3 hours study. On successful completion of the course we issue a certificate qualifying our students as a yoga teacher.
