Chantel Alcaraz – Chantel’s discovery of yoga began over 10 years ago. Her travels since then have brought her the experience of studying, practicing, and teaching in various countries around the world. She shared yoga even while living on the ice of Antarctica during her stay for one year!
Her journeys have led her to various styles and traditions of yoga, including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Sivananda, Hatha, and Iyengar. She is certified in Levels 1 and 2 through YogaFit, and became certified as a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Multi-Style Yoga Teacher in Rishikesh, India. Chantel has a deep interest into the ancient practice of Ayurveda which shows how the body is connected to everything in our lives – food, environment, people, our thoughts… Chantel brings these elements into her practice and teaching. Her interest and discovery of the body through yoga has more recently led her into studying deeper into Traditional Thai Massage (actually rooted in India), making this an amazing addition to her everyday practice. Her classes work to bring you back to your essence. A fusion of body, mind and spirit, Chantel will help you to flow with your breath, ground into the earth, and guide you back into your true being. Flowing and connecting in your practice will leave you revitalized, reconnected, and more balanced.
